AviPro Salmonella Duo quiz Terms and Conditions 

Promoter

1. The promoter is Elanco UK AH Ltd, Form 2, Bartley Way, Bartley Wood Business Park, Hook, RG27 9XA, United Kingdom (“Elanco”).

Competition

2. The title of competition is ‘AviPro Salmonella Duo quiz’ (“Quiz”).

Personal Data Protection

3. Information you provide to Elanco for the Competition contains data which enables you to be identified, such as your name, address, email address (“Personal Data”). The use of Personal Data is governed by the Retained Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act 2018.

4. Elanco will only process your Personal Data for the purpose of this Quiz. We will also only pass your Personal Data to appointed agents of Elanco who handle or process data (including outside the European Economic Area) on our behalf relating to the purpose. Elanco will not sell or disclose your Personal Data to any other third parties for any purpose and will delete your Personal Data upon completion of the Quiz. 5. In order to conduct the Quiz, we need your free consent to our use of your Personal Data. By entering the Quiz you have freely consented to such use of your Personal Data by providing your contact details and giving explicit consent to be notified in case of winning.

Entries and General

6. The Quiz is freely open to vets and producers over the age of 18 excluding: (a) employees of Elanco, its holding or subsidiary companies, (b) employees of Elanco agents or suppliers professionally connected with the Competition or its administration and (c) immediate family members of anyone in (a) and (b) above. There is a strict limit of only one prize per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint entries are not allowed.

7. The Quiz will run from 1st April 2025 (“Opening Date”) to 31st December 2025 (“Closing Date”) inclusive. There will be new quiz questions every quarter/3 months for a new chance to win.

8. All entries must be received by Elanco by midnight on the Closing Date after which any purported entry is automatically disqualified.
The prize winner will be drawn at random from all entries. The prize winner will receive a £50 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card* (“Prize”) while limited stocks last. The prize will be sent to the prize winner via mail within 5-10 working days. Prizes are subject to availability, the supplier’s terms and conditions and Elanco’s absolute discretion.

9. No purchase is necessary and there is no charge for entry to the Quiz.

10. Elanco reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject invalid entries and entries from any entrants believed to be breaching these terms and conditions.

11. Elanco will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost or delayed in transit or transmission regardless of cause. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted.

12. Elanco’s decisions in the Quiz are final. No discussion or correspondence will be entered into.

13. A Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available, Elanco reserves the right to award an alternative prize of equal or lesser value, should the advertised Prize become unavailable for any reason.

14. Elanco may terminate this Quiz at any time and reserves the right to withdraw, hold void, cancel, suspend or amend this Quiz or not award a Prize or to re-award a Prize where it becomes necessary to do so, for example in the event of insufficient prizes, inability to contact a prize winner, in any circumstances outside its reasonable control, or otherwise, with no liability to entrants, prize winners or any third parties.

15. Prize winners are responsible for any tax liability they may incur.

16. Elanco accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment of any kind suffered by any entrant in entering the Quiz, including as a result of any entrant winning or not winning any Prize.

17. Insofar as permitted by law, Elanco, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a prize winner or accepts any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Elanco, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

18. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
