Healthy Enterprise: Elanco UK & Ireland donate devices to Turing Trust
At Elanco, we have been working to minimise waste and send nothing to landfill.
Used electrical equipment poses a particular problem as it contains metals that are hazardous and polluting. We were very pleased to find the Turing Trust, an organisation set up by the family of the late Alan Turing that seeks to continue his altruistic legacy by using technology to empower disadvantaged communities: “we refurbish IT equipment, install a range of educational software and provide it to those who need it most. In the last 13 years we have enabled access to computers for over 169,000 students across Africa, Asia and the UK.”

So far this year, Elanco UK and Ireland have donated 85 i-phones and i-pads, helping to support the education of another 85 students.
