Whether you love it or hate it, how often do you see frustrating dermatology cases? The Scratch That Tour is a new event series launching this November and December. Elanco is bringing together vets to give simple, practical insights to make canine atopic dermatitis consults a little more relaxing.
Led by dermatology specialists and experienced first-opinion vets, each evening blends interactive case discussions with real-world insights to explore:
- Killer questions to advance your communication with your clients
- Using evidence-based medicine to make informed treatment decisions for your patients
- Some tips and tricks on taking the stress out of your day
No death-by-PowerPoint. Just honest discussion, fresh clinical thinking and the chance to connect with peers who get it, over drinks and dinner.

Supporting StreetVet
For every vet who attends each in-person event, Elanco will make a donation to StreetVet, which provides free veterinary care for pets of people experiencing homelessness.
What’s on the agenda?
Each evening follows the same format: arrive from 6:30pm for a 7:30pm start. The programme wraps up by 9pm. Speakers will vary at each event location, but the format remains the same:

Session 1: Taking the stress out of derm consults
Specialists and GP vets in conversation, working through the questions that can help you get to the heart of the problem and get owners genuinely on board with a treatment plan.
Wellness session and break
A short, practical reset to help with stress management, designed for busy vets.
Session 2: Getting owners onside by aiming for normal
Interactive case studies on itchy dogs, with live polling and expert commentary.
