Credelio Quattro/Credelio Quattro-CA1 contains four active ingredients designed to deliver comprehensive efficacy in parasite coverage:

Lotilaner is a fast-acting parasiticide used to control ticks and fleas in dogs. It’s a member of the isoxazoline class of parasiticides that controls these pests by targeting their nervous system.

Moxidectin, a highly lipophilic macrocyclic lactone, targets glutamate-gated ion channels of invertebrates and filarial nematodes. This lipophilicity helps it have a high tissue distribution and long elimination half-life, resulting in the muscle paralysis and death of heartworms in the L3 and L4 stage – ultimately preventing heartworm disease.

Praziquantel is an effective treatment for 3 species of tapeworms.^{^} Pyrantel pamoate is an established treatment for hookworms and roundworms and starts working in a matter of hours. It’s a depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent, causing paralysis, which forces the worm to lose its grip on the intestinal wall and then pass through the dog.

No. Credelio Quattro/Credelio Quattro-CA1 is only approved for use in dogs. However, Credelio® CAT (lotilaner) contains lotilaner, one of the active ingredients used in Credelio Quattro/Credelio Quattro-CA1, which provides fast-acting protection from ticks, kills adult fleas, and treats and prevents flea infestations.

Credelio Quattro/Credelio Quattro-CA1 has been demonstrated safe for dogs as young as 8 weeks old and weighing as little as 3.3 lbs.

If a dose is missed, a new dose should be given immediately. If vomiting occurs within an hour after administration, readminister a new dose. Then, continue with the prescribed monthly dosing schedule.

Credelio Quattro should be administered once a month, every month, to dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older and 3.3 pounds or greater.

Yes. For full efficacy against ticks and fleas, instruct pet owners to always give their dog Credelio Quattro/Credelio Quattro-CA1 with food or within 30 minutes of a meal. The presence of food ensures that peak blood levels and exposures of lotilaner are achieved, which is necessary for initial and ongoing efficacy.

Splitting of Credelio Quattro/Credelio Quattro-CA1 tablets is not recommended.

Content uniformity of whole and half tablets has not been established. Therefore, tablets are not scored and splitting of tablets is not advisable. A variety of tablet sizes have been developed to allow for accurate dosing according to a dog’s weight.

No stability testing has been performed on tablets once they have been removed from the blister pack. We do not recommend taking the tablets out of the blister pack for storage in another container. Credelio Quattro/Credelio Quattro-CA1 tablets should only be taken out of the blister pack at the time of dosing.
