Advantage Multi^® for Cats

Indications

Advantage Multi for Cats is indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis. Advantage Multi for Cats kills adult fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and is indicated for the treatment of flea infestations. Advantage Multi for Cats is also indicated for the treatment and control of ear mite (Otodectes cynotis) infestations and the following intestinal parasites:

Important Safety Information

CAUTION: Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

WARNINGS: Do not use on sick or debilitated cats or ferrets. Do not use on underweight cats. (see ADVERSE REACTIONS). 

Do not use on cats less than 9 weeks of age and cats or ferrets less than 2 lbs body weight.

PRECAUTIONS: Avoid oral ingestion.

HUMAN WARNINGS: Children should not come in contact with the application site for 30 minutes following application.

Advantage Multi^® for Dogs

Indications

Advantage Multi for Dogs is indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis and the treatment of Dirofilaria immitis circulating microfilariae in heartworm-positive dogs. Advantage Multi for Dogs kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis). Advantage Multi for Dogs is indicated for the treatment and control of sarcoptic mange caused by Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis. CAUTION: Federal law restricts Advantage Multi® for Dogs to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

WARNING: DO NOT ADMINISTER THIS PRODUCT ORALLY. For the first 30 minutes after application ensure that dogs cannot lick the product from application sites on themselves or other treated animals. (See Contraindications, Warnings, Human Warnings, and Adverse Reactions for more information.)

PRECAUTIONS: Avoid oral ingestion.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use this product on cats.

HUMAN WARNINGS: Children should not come in contact with the application sites for two (2) hours after application.

Comfortis^®

Comfortis for dogs Indications:

COMFORTIS kills fleas and is indicated for the prevention and treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) for one month, on dogs and puppies 14 weeks of age and older and 5.0 pounds of body weight or greater.

Comfortis for dogs Important Safety Information (ISI)

Serious adverse reactions have been reported following concomitant extra-label use of ivermectin with Comfortis. Use with caution in breeding females and dogs with pre-existing epilepsy. The safe use of Comfortis in breeding males has not been evaluated. The most common adverse reactions reported were vomiting, depression/lethargy, anorexia, ataxia, diarrhea, pruritus, trembling, hypersalivation and seizures. Post approval experience continues to support the safety of Comfortis when used concurrently with heartworm preventives according to label directions. Credelio^® CAT

Indications

Credelio® CAT kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) for one month in cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older and weighing 2.0 lbs or greater.

Credelio® CAT is also indicated for treatment and control of Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick) infestations for one month in cats and kittens 6 months of age and older and weighing 2.0 lbs or greater.

Important Safety Information

Lotilaner is a member of the isoxazoline class. This class has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, ataxia and seizures. Neurologic adverse reactions have been reported in cats receiving isoxazoline class drugs, even in cats without a history of neurologic disorders. Use with caution in cats with a history of neurologic disorders. The safety of Credelio® CAT has not been established in breeding, pregnant and lactating cats. The effectiveness of Credelio® CAT against Ixodes scapularis in kittens less than 6 months of age has not been evaluated. Credelio^® 

Indications
Credelio kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) and the treatment and control of tick infestations [Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick), Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog tick)] and Haemaphysalis longicornis (longhorned tick)] for one month in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater. Credelio is indicated for the prevention of Borrelia burgdorferi infections (also known as Lyme disease) as a direct result of killing Ixodes scapularis vector ticks.

Important Safety Information

Credelio Quattro™/Credelio Quattro-CA1

Indications: 

Credelio Quattro is indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis and for the treatment and control of roundworm (immature adult and adult Toxocara canis and adult Toxascaris leonina), hookworm (fourth stage larvae, immature adult, and adult Ancylostoma caninum and adult Uncinaria stenocephala), and tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia pisiformis, and Echinococcus granulosus) infections.  Credelio Quattro kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) and the treatment and control of tick infestations [Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick),  Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick), Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog tick), and Haemaphysalis longicornis (longhorned tick)] for one month in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older, and weighing 3.3 pounds or greater. Important Safety Information: 

Lotilaner, an ingredient in Credelio Quattro/Credelio Quattro-CA1, belongs to the isoxazoline class and has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions like tremors, ataxia, and seizures even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders. Dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections before Credelio Quattro/Credelio Quattro-CA1 administration as it is not effective against adult D. immitis. The safe use in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs has not been evaluated. The most frequently reported adverse reactions in clinical trials were vomiting and diarrhea.

Credelio Quattro-CA1 is conditionally approved by the FDA pending a full demonstration of effectiveness under application number 141-619. Treatment of NWS myiasis includes removal of the larvae, lesion cleaning and surgical debridement. Implement appropriate wound care and pain management.

Droncit^® for Dogs 

Indications: 

Droncit (praziquantel tablets) are indicated for the removal of the following canine cestodes: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia pisiformis, Echinococcus granulosus and for the removal and control of Echinococcus multilocularis.

Interceptor^® Plus 

Indications

Interceptor Plus is indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis and for the treatment and control of adult roundworm (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), adult hookworm (Ancylostoma caninum), adult whipworm (Trichuris vulpis), and adult tapeworm (Taenia pisiformis, Echinococcus multilocularis, Echinococcus granulosus and Dipylidium caninum) infections in dogs and puppies 6 weeks or older and 2 pounds or greater.

Important Safety Information

Treatment with fewer than 6 monthly doses after the last exposure to mosquitoes may not provide complete heartworm prevention. Prior to administration of Interceptor Plus, dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections. The safety of Interceptor Plus has not been evaluated in dogs used for breeding or in lactating females. The following adverse reactions have been reported in dogs after administration of milbemycin oxime or praziquantel: vomiting, diarrhea, depression/lethargy, ataxia, anorexia, convulsions, weakness, and salivation.  For full prescribing information see Interceptor Plus package label.

Indications for Dogs

Indications: INTERCEPTOR is indicated for use in the prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis, the control of adult Ancylostoma caninum (hookworm), and the removal and control of adult Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina (roundworms) and Trichuris vulpis (whipworm) infections in dogs and in puppies four weeks of age or greater and two pounds body weight or greater.

Dogs and cats should be tested for existing heartworm infection prior to use. In a small percentage of treated dogs, digestive and neurologic side effects may occur. Profender^® 

Indications

PROFENDER Topical Solution is indicated for the treatment and control of hookworm infections caused by Ancylostoma tubaeforme (adults, immature adults, and fourth stage larvae), roundworm infections caused by Toxocara cati (adults and fourth stage larvae), and tapeworm infections caused by Dipylidium caninum (adults) and Taenia taeniaeformis (adults) in cats.

Important Safety Information:

CAUTION: Federal law (U.S.A.) restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

PRECAUTIONS:
Safe use of this product has not been evaluated in cats less than 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 2.2lbs (1 kg), in cats used for breeding, during pregnancy or in lactating queens. Use with caution on sick or debilitated cats. 

HUMAN WARNING: Children should not contact application site for twenty-four (24) hours. Pregnant women, or women who may become pregnant, should avoid direct contact with, or wear disposable gloves when applying, this product. For full prescribing information, see Profender package label. 

Trifexis^®

Indications

Trifexis is indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis). Trifexis^® kills fleas and is indicated for the prevention and treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis), and the treatment and control of adult hookworm (Ancylostoma caninum), adult roundworm (Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina) and adult whipworm (Trichuris vulpis) infections in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age or older and 5 pounds of body weight or greater.

Important Safety Information 

Serious adverse reactions have been reported following concomitant extra-label use of ivermectin with spinosad alone, one of the components of Trifexis. Treatment with fewer than three monthly doses after the last exposure to mosquitoes may not provide complete heartworm prevention. Prior to administration of Trifexis, dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infection. Use with caution in breeding females. The safe use of Trifexis® in breeding males has not been evaluated. Use with caution in dogs with pre-existing epilepsy. The most common adverse reactions reported are vomiting, depression/lethargy, pruritus, anorexia, and diarrhea. To ensure heartworm prevention, dogs should be observed for one hour after administration. If vomiting occurs within one hour of administration, redose.
