Befrena is an injectable caninized anti IL-31 monoclonal antibody (mAb) for the control of pruritus in dogs suffering from atopic and allergic dermatitis​.

Befrena has been shown to be effective for the treatment of dogs against allergic dermatitis and canine atopic dermatitis (CAD)​.

Befrena can be administered every 6-8 weeks or as needed. 

Befrena starts controlling itch within 24 hours.
